Liberal Mid-America Regional Airport

The Liberal Mid-America Regional Airport is a full-service general aviation and regional commercial airport serving the 5-state region consisting of Southwest Kansas, Oklahoma and Texas Panhandles, as well as southeast Colorado and Northeast New Mexico.   Two Daily airline flights to and from Denver, CO are provided through United Express operated by SkyWest Airlines. Other services include free long-term parking, curbside pickup and drop-off, rental car and taxi service.

Highways

Liberal is at the intersection of two major highways, U.S. Hwy 54 and U.S. Highway 83.

US Hwy 54

This northeast/southwest highway runs from El Paso, Texas to Griggsville, Illinois, extending 1.197 miles. It serves as the main commerce route east to Wichita, Kansas where it meets multiple interstate highways. To the southwest range the markets of Texas and New Mexico.

US Hwy 83

This highway claims the title of fifth longest north/south highway in the United States extending 1,885 miles. The southern terminus of 83 in the U.S. is Brownsville, Texas and the northern terminus is Westhope, North Dakota at the Canadian border. Because of its reach, the road carries thousands of vehicles and millions of dollars in goods each day.
